Get in touch with an old friend

Don’t neglect your relationships. Invest in your friendships. Phone a friend.

You’ll never be homeless if you have a friend.

You’ll never have a true friend if you neglect them.

It doesn’t take much.

  • A phone call on their birthday
  • A postcard from a holiday
  • An email that says “I was just thinking about you”.

Don’t let this happen:

“I’ve been meaning to get in touch with her, but it’s been such a long time that I feel guilty about facing up to the fact that I haven’t called. She’ll think I don’t care. It’s best to stick my head in the sand and forget about it.”

Sound familiar? This is how relationships fizzle away into nothing.

So follow these steps. RIGHT NOW.

  1. Think of a friend you haven’t spoken to in a few months.
  2. Pick up the phone and call him.
  3. Start the conversation like this: “Hi! How are you? It’s been ages? What’s going on?”
  4. Set a date for a follow up – a coffee, a meal, another phone call.
  5. FOLLOW UP!

There, you’ve just salvaged a sinking relationship.

DO THIS and your quality of life will improve. Guaranteed.
